Smoked Ribs and Pork Butt in the Vertical Smoker
Today I smoked a slab of St Louis Style Spare Ribs and a 4 pound pork shoulder in the Lone Star Grillz Vertical Offset Smoker.
As usual, I kept it very simple. Backyard Barbeque should be fun, not stressful.

Nice job! I was thinking about experimenting with this idea, decided to do a search to see if anyone else had tried it. You are The Man!🤠🤘🏼
Congrats brother
Thank you CJ
You fucked up garlic!. So this not good pizza!
How did you warm this up for your get together?
You can put it in a crockpot on low and add a little liquid to keep it moist.
How long does it take to warm up in crockpot?
Dont use your dampers??😂😂😂 #1 thats just dumb, and #2 a statement like that wpukd very fro. Smoker to smoker, bc the each have their quirks.
My number 1 tip is to never purchase a model that has the controls under the bottom of the door. Tip number 2 is to never forget tip number 1. A model with the controls on the side of the unit is way better for the long hall. Water tray mishaps will happen. food , sauce and spritzing mishaps will happen. You want to be able to pull a rack out and spritz without fear of getting liquid, not to mention sauce or grease all over the controls. Tip number 3 is to thank me for tip number 1. Your welcome.
Look good. What type of sausage are those? What type of bun is that?
What type of wood chips did you use? What’s in your rub?
I don’t have a pellet grill but will try this. I would leave a little fat on mines as I like to eat a little of it
As an avid griller who recently made the switch from Qstoves to Asmoke, I can confidently say that the Asmoke pellet grill has transformed my grilling experience. The precise temperature control and versatility it offers have made grilling easier and more enjoyable. I love how it uses wood pellets as a fuel source, imparting a distinct smoky flavor to my food which was missing in my Qstoves. The convenience of automated temperature control and the ability to monitor food temperature remotely via the app is a game-changer! The fact that it's battery-powered and portable makes it perfect for outings. Plus, the environmental friendliness of using recycled wood materials is a bonus. #Asmoke truly offers unlimited flavor and a superior grilling experience! #Asmoke
Don't believe the hipe
I just got the competition series and their water pan just isn’t big enough so if you’re going to do an overnight either put a bigger water tray on a shelf or right in the water pan.
Thanks for going to the effort of showing your cook….very helpful to me!

Smoking some baby backs while watching Mike!
Hey brother!
Great video Big boss man
I know the directions say different but I like to add the marinade, cure and 2 tablespoons of water all together in a Ziploc bag. I mix it up completely in the bag before I put the meat in it. I then let the meat sit atleast 24hrs and periodically move it around while it's marinating. It's turned out well for me this way on my pellet grill. I like to combine different marinades together as well.
Smoke a brick of bologna
Bro really just planted herbs in the garden just to cut them for the video.. wow 😂😂
Not washing the ribs was the only issue I have with this video. I mean out the pack then straight to the seasoning is wild!
Did you get the powder coated base or the raw steel?
Powder coated
I smoke mostly anything on the grill🤣🤣 add cream of chicken or onion
